"WATER RESISTANT” is a quality specification for water-resistant watches based on the description of JIS (Japan Industrial Standards) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
"WATER RESIST” and "W.R.” are the abbreviated forms of "WATER RESISTANT.”
